Jon Paul Robbins works as a lawyer in New York City, New York. He has worked in the city for the duration of his legal career. This means he is accustomed to the legal settings of New York City, which are somewhat unique and take some getting used to.

Jon Paul Robbins received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree from the State University of New York a Binghamton. He graduated from SUNY – Binghamton in 1970, graduating with cum laude honors. He then attended Cornell University’s law school in order to get his Juris Doctorate, a feat he accomplished in 1973, with honors again. While at Cornell, Robbin was a member of the Board of Editors at the Cornell Law Review and a member of the national honorary society for legal students and alumni, the Order of the Coif.

Robbins joined a law firm in Manhattan called Seward & Kissel after receiving his Juris Doctorate. He worked in their litigation department until 1979, when he left to help found his own law firm called Nitkin Alkalay Handler & Robbins. He was a partner at this firm until 1992, when the firm was merged with McLaughlin & Stern, which is the firm where Jon Paul Robbins is now a partner.
